Dillon Kampp, DDS, MSD
Dr. Dillon joined the team at Bellingham Pediatric Dentistry in August 2024, and he takes great pleasure in serving the families of Bellingham and the surrounding communities.
“I fell in love with Bellingham as an undergraduate, and I’m thrilled to return to the area to practice dentistry and serve the very community that helped form me as an individual. The chance to join such an inspiring, excellent practice with Dr. Sawyer is a rare opportunity. I could not be more excited for what’s ahead.”
Dr. Dillon received his undergraduate degree from Western Washington University, and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington. As a WWU alumnus, Dr. Dillon is thrilled to be returning to Bellingham after the recent completion of the pediatric residency program at UW.
Born and raised in Snoqualmie, Wash., Dr. Dillon discerned his passion for pediatric dentistry during his training. “When I treated adults, I kept hearing about their negative experiences at the dentist as children. I loved helping patients through their fears, but I wanted to help at the source. I explored pediatric dentistry and immediately fell in love with it! I know that when I step into work everyday, I am going to be treating someone’s entire world. Taking time to ensure that parents understand what is going on and feel confident in the decisions that are being made is foundational to how I practice.”
Dr. Sawyer is thrilled to work with a great colleague in Dr. Dillon. “Dillon is a fantastic fit for our growing practice,“ he said. “His infectious enthusiasm, combined with his passion for dentistry, will expand our ability to offer the very best care to our patients.”
When he’s not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Dillon spending time with his partner, Taelor, and cattle dog, Dodger. He enjoys all things outdoors, taking trips to the San Juan Islands, and attending sporting events.
